Wrap yourself up in one of these beautiful, colorful shawls made by the women from the Asociacion Ixoq Ajkeem weaving cooperative in San Juan La Laguna on the shore of Lake Attitlan.   Using skills and techniques passed down through generations, the T’zutujil Maya women from the cooperative weave their magic on back strap looms making these striking cotton shawls featuring braided fringe on both ends.  Working through the cooperative ensures the weavers receive fair trade wages for their work.  23′ x 62′ with a 3′ fringe on each end; 100% cotton.
